There are about 2.34 million people following Richard Hammond on Twitter only. That number is similar to James May’s case. None of the two need any new gigs to remain popular; all these years of Top Gear shows were more than enough to turn them into legends. Still they won’t simply rest without pulling at least one funny gig now and then. It’s The Hamster’s turn this time.
If James May is trying to decide between making pie and playing the flute, it appears that Richard Hammond is not willing to give up video recording the world quite yet.
The two do share the same reasons that made them fool around on YouTube and that popular state of mind is called boredom.
And that is exactly how The Hamster called his newly created the YouTube Account, "Richard Hammond is bored". Judging by his recent tweets, it all started about seven days ago when he announced everybody that he was looking for new activities.
Now, the first video showcasing the countryside emerged. It appears to be a farm where Hammond recently was. Fans can see the BBC star sheep herding and enjoying a cup of tea. The first video is 10 minutes and 29 seconds in length, while the follow-up, which features pretty much the same “action”, is shorter at four minutes and 34 seconds.

Many comments on my little Bored film. Was briefly interested. Then bored again. Shall make a cutdown version next. When I can be bothered.

Now, judging by the fact both May and Hammond have been auctioning their assets, we’re assuming more of these videos will further emerge. Since they have the time and the money both can afford to travel or simply relax, staying busy with random deeds to fill their empty time. It seems to be working for their fans, so we can’t see any problem here.
