There’s one thing we love about superheroes, they always get the coolest cars. Even though modern times give petrol heads the chance to substantially enhance engine’s power, a good old Batmobile will always beat them all. There is, however, one piece of the puzzle that missed so far, which is a cool bad boy Batman watch. Here is where Romani Jerome’s new timepiece comes in.
For a company that defines itself as a watch maker that incorporates DNA of famous contemporary legends in their timepieces, it was only normal they will eventually turn their heads to a proper superhero. The Swiss luxury watch maker has recently unveiled the Batman-DNA by RJ-Romain Jerome. Limited to only 75 pieces, the exclusive timepiece celebrates the Dark Kinght’s 75th anniversary.

Designed in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the wrist watch is inspired by Batman’s heroic personality. Housed in a 46mm black PVD-coated steel case, the black bezel has been machine-worked to showcase the bold and singular facets, recalling the angular contours of the Batmobile. In other words, it’s the perfect gadget for the perfect car.

The dial of the Batman-DNA allegedly mirrors the Gotham City Super Hero’s personality - raw, yet sophisticated. In the center of the dial, it comes with an eye-catching Batman emblem applique, lacquered in black. The iconic Bat-Signal shines at night thanks to an engraving, filled with black Superluminova, which outlines the hero’s symbol. The rest of the dial has undergone RJ-Romain Jerome’s special “rough” finish, giving the watch a dark and edgy look.

And to keep things in the same tone, the Batman-DNA watch comes with a black Hornback crocodile strap that has also been added to the timepiece, resembling Batman’s avant-garde leather gear. All these come to one heck of a price, sending this exclusive timepiece among the rare and luxurious watches. You’ll need to pay $18,848 (EUR 14,950) if you want to be one of the 75 pieces, so you’d better start saving.
