Think of your favorite cars from the 60s and 70s. Can you visualize them? Good, because the new Audi RS3 is probably faster than all of them. Not only that, but it can double as a speedboat as it races down a beach.
As part of the UK marketing campaign called "Born Restless," the company has released this video where the 367 horsepower AWD machine races a speedboat down a beach. It's probably something they didn't need to do, but we and about 150,000 other Youtube viewers thank them for it.
H2O might cover most of our planet, but we still prefer cars than drink petrol, not hydrogen. The 2.5-liter turbocharged engine in this car sounds like nothing else in the world and we want to delay the arrival of EVs for as long as possible.
The Audi RS3 isn't just a car for the weekend thrill seeker because underneath that sexy red exterior, and large wheels are the body of an average family hatchback. It can go from A to B in a relaxed manner and then take you from 0 to 62 in 4.3 seconds.
Yours for only £40,000, the RS3 is cheapest RS model you can order in Britain. Even though it doesn't handle like a rear-wheel drive sportscar, we think the bonkers engine sound and performance make it worthy of your cash.
"Without hesitation, it ventured onto a causeway covered by high tide, kicking up water in its wake. Once on the sand, the RS3 effortlessly raced on the soft terrain thanks to quattro's improved traction, stability and acceleration. Against the odds, the RS 3 out-did the high-speed vehicle in an unfamiliar environment. A close call, but once again unbeaten, the RS3 headed off for the final stage of its epic journey," says Audi about its restless hot hatch.
