Talking about a Subaru Impreza WRX STI without mentioning tuning is rather impossible, especially if we’re talking about the older models. Nonetheless, when we enter the DIY world, these stories sometimes go wrong, very wrong.
Such is the case with the STI in the adjacent clip, whose owner decided to strap a duck call to the blow off valve. As a result, the Scooby now sounds more like... Donald Duck having a cold.

In fact, this DIY Impreza job may even build a bridge between two of the least-loved tuning subcultures, Rice and Redneck. Heck, as one Youtube commenter aptly pointed out, this could be called Rice Neck. And in case you're wondering, this Impreza probably measures its engine output in duck, not horsepower.

Before we move on with this, we have to consider this might just be a piece of trolling. Some of yoy might have imagined the Silver STI driving around like that in the morning commute, but, hopefully, the driver could have decided to play this as a one time game.

While people playing with blow off valves is not all that common, you might be familiar with the funny exhaust sounds. That’s because many pranksters choose to put a piece of rubber over their tailpipes.

Sure, this increases backpressure and usually crosses the border of decency, but some people just get their kicks out of it.
