Have you ever tried to sing using you car’s exhaust? This is much, much more difficult than it... sounds. You may have all the right voices, such as the G63 AMG baritone or some retro Ferrari lead singer, but it’s nearly impossible to obtain the right balance.
We’ve tried it, others have tried it, but, at least so far, we haven’t managed to come across an end result that sounds memorable. Of course, such a process would require studio recording, digitization and all the other stuff artists turn to in order to release those jaw-dropping hits. Try to pull that scheme and you’ll probably be treated with the “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That!” line.
Since Santa has now put his sleigh into overdrive and Christmas is approaching fast, we figured we could at least provide a digitally-improvised theme song. Ladies and gentlemen holiday tasters, we are giving you... supercar singing Jingle Bells with their exhausts.
Like we said, this is not an actual choir of supercars, but rather a compilation. It was all put together by supercar spotter jorrie2, who has been filming these monsters all year long.
In fact, the spotter has pulled a similar trick last year. Neither his 2013 Jingle Bells, not his current one are all that accurate, so they require a bit of assistance from your brain in order to achieve the right effect. Then again, supercars are all about feelings and emotions, so spilling a bit of these over the video shouldn’t be all that difficult.
PS: we're not quite sure about the fiery part - we know this wasn't included in the original recipe, but since the flaming trend has really taken up in the supercar world, you'll see it included in the footage below.
