The Suzuki Swift isn't strictly speaking a Japanese car, not in the same sense as a Jimny or the Wagon R. But, this Hungarian hatch has a hot side to it, which the world knows as the Swift Sport.
That's the target of today's tuning project, which we have to say is rare. We know because the ZC32S codename refers to the 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine, which somehow is capable of making turbo whistle noises. Somehow, a turbocharger with custom silicone pipes has been stuffed under there. Considering the standard engine has about 140 horsepower, this mod may rival the Clio RS and its 200 ponies.
Not much is known about these changes, so let's move on to the exterior. This 5-door Swift Sport is equipped with a ground effects body kit from BELi Aerodynamics, a Japanese company. They installed a chin spoiler, new grille, side skirts and some fresh trim pieces. A new suspension system from G-DRIVE was also installed, and BBS wheels complete the look.
We won't bore you with our opinions on this design, chiefly because you can see what the Japanese have done for yourselves in the video and photo gallery. Not many companies have tried to tune the unassuming little Swift.
It might not be a race car, but with such a low stance, the little Suzuki looks the part. This feature is down to the 4-wheel independent air suspension system from ACC. The gas tank stuffed under the floor of the boot can quickly lower or raise the little Swift.
