There’s plenty of figures and big words that can describe the P1 as an outstanding marvel of modern technology. For instance, you could talk about the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that, without any help from the hybrid electric motor, generates 737 ponies alone.
Clearly there’s little to none that can beat the vehicle’s carbon fiber bodywork. It’s art, and you almost feel sorry just touching it. Now imagine scratching its paint with a wire brush.

Does it hurt? It did hurt our eyes when we first watched the video, but with enough strength and little courage you’ll get past the first minute and realize it all happens for a reason. It turns out, this entire madness was quite accurately planned and is here to prove how important Pain Protection Film is, especially if your car is one of those expensive breeds.

Here’s what they have to say about it:

We show you the benefits of having Paint Protection Film; through our years of research for the correct products to use to meet our company standards we are so confident, we thought we would show you... by using a P1!

In case you can’t find the patience to watch the entire clip we’ll mention they don’t just take the scratch off the spoiler in seconds, but the method also works by simply pouring hot water on the scratch.

We have to admit, learning that the protection wrap is that good, almost had us considering using it on our cars. Nevertheless, considering we are talking about one of the world’s most expensive hypercars, they could have thought of a better way of advertising it.
