Silver LaFerrari Crashed During Ferrari Cavalcade 2015 in Italy

If you're a fan of Ferraris, the annual Cavalcade is the perfect place to check out the latest models. This mecca of all things that have to do with the Prancing Horse saw the debut of a brand new F12 TRS painted in silver and hosted quite a few LaFerraris.

Yes, more than one LaFerrari can be seen in one place, but we'll get to that in a later post. That's because our story of the moment is a silver LaFerrari that's been injured in a crash.

The Cavalcade rally ended on Sunday at the famous Vallelunga race track, where all the members who attended got to do a hot lap. Of course, when you're dealing with a 963 horsepower rear-wheel drive hypercar, bad things are bound to happen.

The silver LaFerrari is from Belgium, and its driver spun off at 150 kilometers per hour (93 mph), hitting a guardrail on the last lap of the circuit. How unlucky!

The front bumper took the brunt of the force, together with the spoiler, and will need to be replaced. Still, let's look at the bright side: since they are in Italy already, the car can easily be sent to the Maranello factory for repairs. Hopefully, they have a brand new bumper laying around somewhere, even though only 499 examples exist.

This year's edition of the Cavalcade is the fourth and clearly the most extreme one yet. To be eligible to join, you have to prove that you are one of the most hardcore fans of the brand in the world by having five different Ferraris in your garage.
