Apart from recently being labeled as one of the “Most influential skateboarders of all-time by FoxWeekly,” his MTV show Ridiculousness just reached episode number 100 so it’s no wonder the man is celebrating. Skater, entrepreneur and TV host, Rob Dydrek has recently bought a brand new Ferrari F12berlinetta and he told his fans on Facebook he intends to properly abuse its powerful engine.
How often do you watch MTV these days? Not that often, we know. But if you were to, you’d probably recognize Dyrdek for his MTV reality series. He first starred in the MTV show Rob & Big (aired November 2006 to April 2008), with his best friend and bodyguard Christopher “Big Black” Boykin, as well as his cousin, Chris “Drama” Pfaf and friend Rashawn “Bam Bam” Davis.

Then, in February 2009, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, featuring Dyrdek, Pfaf, and his Dyrdek Enterprise staff, was first aired. The “Fantasy Factory” was a converted warehouse where Dyrdek ran his many entrepreneurial ventures. It also featured a large indoor skate plaza, Dyrdek personal office, a foam pit, and numerous basketball hoops. The show aired a total of six season, with the season finale airing on March 13, 2014.

Started his own MTV show: Ridiculousness

Ridiculousness is the skater’s own-created television show on MTV, which started in 2011. It mostly airs crazy video clips of people doing stupid things. Dyrdek hosts this show alongside two friends, Chanel West Coast and Sterling Brim.

Apart from staying busy with his TV ventures, Rob remained faithful to what made him successful from the beginning which is being the best at skating. Dyrdek set 21 separate Guinness World Records for skateboarding as part of his former show Rob & Big. His latest crazy deed was his farthest reverse ramp jump by a car (89 feet 3.25 inches/ 27.21 m).

Abusing its power like a 16-year old kid who just got his license

You see, it’s all about making the best out of every situation with this guy so it’s no wonder he went for one of the best grand tourers on the market. After all we’re talking about a beautiful naturally aspirated 6.3-liter Ferrari V12 engine, which has won the International Engine of the Year Awards 2013 in the Best Performance category and Best Engine above 4.0-liters.

And it would seem the fellow has some big plans for his black monster considering what he said on Facebook: “the first thing you do after buying a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, is put a Speed Society sticker in the center of the windshield so people understand that you plan on properly abusing all 730hp like a 16-year-old kid who just got his drivers permit.“
