Remember when you were just a kid spending time outside your room and away from your computer riding a bike with your friends was still normal? Back then, you’d dream there’s a magic spell to turn your BMX into an actual motorcycle, so you’d attach a card to it to make it sound like a motorbike. This is basically the principle for this little toy, only it’s a bit more fun... and funny.
Our petrol head ears are filled with pleasure every time we get the chance to test one of those beautiful supercars and hear their ferocious growls. Whether we’re talking Ferraris, Lamborghinis and mostly any powerful beast with four wheels, it’s something we partly live for. But that is just us. However, for some reason this silly toy kind of reminds us where everything started from.

You see, when we were just kids and money wouldn’t count for much, when overtime wouldn’t even be in hour vocabulary, we used to appreciate the little things. Instead of wishing for a new ride, saving money for a road trip or dreaming of the day we grip the wheel of our own Ferrari 458, we would just spend countless hours with our friends. Of course, as 8-year-old boys we’d still care a lot for vehicles.

In fact, we wished we could replicate the sound a Harley Davidson or an old school Indian two-wheeler would make. Like most of you, we also used playing cards that would make noise with every pedal we’d push harder.

That’s pretty much what these funny guys are doing with their so-called Exhaust System. Using durable plastic sound cards and a megaphone exhaust pipe, the set also includes 15 custom Turbospoke decals. You can find it on Amazon for 19 bucks, just in case you were actually wondering.

Call it the perfect gift for your 8-year-old son or a prank you’d pull of to that annoying colleague at work, but we have to admit this stupid toy brings back memories.
