Take a Closer Look at the Car Chase Scenes in Rome from Spectre – Video

They made a special Aston Martin for Spectre 1 photo

We still haven’t decided which one was better, seeing two amazing vehicles almost crashing in a stunt that will probably make a delight in the Spectre movie or the sound of the Jaguar C-X75. In case you haven’t already seen the clip, we’re referring to an amateur video shot by a fan in Rome while they were filming it. Now we found one that's even better.
Sure, the "making of" video we stumbled upon is far more detailed than the previous we were telling you two months ago. In fact, that one was just one scene. Apparently, the crew was shooting one of the chasing pics, where James Bond is driving the specially manufactured Aston Martin DB10 while the villain is at the wheel of this orange beast, a Jaguar C-X75.

Things did get quite interesting when the driver in the C-X75 apparently was taken by surprise by the brakes of the car, and almost rear ended the one of only ten ever created Aston Martin. When we found this new clip we were kind of hoping they will explain what happened in that scene. We’re curious how they did it. I mean let’s face it, if it was part of the script, then the Jaguar C-X75 driver is really great at handling a car.

But like we said, the new footage is not breaking the mystery. However, it does include some really cool chasing scenes the crew also shot in Rome which you’ll most likely enjoy watching.

You can also see Neil Layton, Action Vehicles Technical Coordinator, talking about the eight bespoke Aston Martin cars that were delivered to the set in Italy. Apparently, there were nights when they shot down some streets in Rome to film so this might be the reason there weren’t more leaked videos.
