Even if you are the kind of driver than never opens the hood unassisted, there’s a slight change you’ve heard of a company called K&N. These guys build air filters and you’ve probably seen at least a dozen of their stickers on those tuned cars that sometime run through the neighborhood. As it turns out, when they’re not playing with your air intake, K&N like to... create calendars.
The 2015 edition of the K&N Calendar is now out and the adjacent video serves as a teaser. From the drag strip to a location far off the road, the calendar offers all sorts of tuned car flavors, The tuning girls obviously couldn’t be left behind, so the calendar features plenty of ways to take your attention away even from the shiniest of engine bay works.
Probably due to stance matters, they appear to have only selected tall models and we mustn't forget about the two-wheeled creations in the calendar. The 2015 Pirelli Calendar once again reinvented itself, this time by bringing latex to the vanilla masses.
“In my opinion, these are the key aesthetic models of today’s world. They represent... the fashion and star system imposed upon us right now,” Steven Meisel, the photographer who is behind this year’s shoot, explains. “I didn’t want to make a conceptual calendar or link it to some particular location, but rather to create 12 posters in which women, in all their sensuality, are the protagonists of 12 very different images.”
There’s quite a distance between the Pirelli and K&N’s calendars, but we’re pretty sure your garage wall would be happy with any of them.
