Even though the new M3 and M4 models went on sale as far back as last year, they are still considered new cars. A lot of people are buying them as we speak and a lot of them have unanswered questions still. That thing is, they are packed with technology and might be a bit of a handful.
That’s why Nick Murray decided to put together a video showing his followers (and not only) how he dealt with some of those issues and fun/fast ways to get around them. He did a Top 10 but we’re not going to focus on all of them but take you through some of the more important issues.

Of course, his number one issue is one that happens quite often and not only on the new M cars. I, for one, had this issue on other cars too, ranging from entry-level ones to higher-tier versions.

So, you’re driving along the highway and after going through a puddle or simply out of the blue you start hearing a rattling sound from the rear axle. It’s not just rattling, you feel like your wheels are going to fall off. Well, don’t worry, there’s an easy fix for this.

All you have to do is pull over and check the rear disk brakes. They have a sort of protective sheet of metal behind them. Little stones and all sorts of debris can (and will) get stuck between this sheet metal and the disk itself, causing the noises we’re talking about. All you have to do is just pull or push on it a little and whatever was stuck in there will simply fall off. Be careful as the brake disk can be pretty hot and you might get some bad burns.

That’s just one example of the tricks Nick tells you all about in the video below, though. Others include, for example, how to quickly downshift on the highway or how to setup your M buttons and even how to use the Smokey Burnout function. It’s an interesting take on the car and if you need some help, you might find a solution to your problems in it.
