Those who admire Agent 007’s skills and happen to own a Tesla Model S must know that Elon Musk planted an easter egg in the electric sedan, allowing the Model S to “turn” into one of the coolest vehicles ever driven by the British Secret Service agent.
Oh dear, Tesla Model S just reinvented the definition of cool and Elon Musk is the one to blame for this. But since it involves some James Bond-esque gadgetry, we’re willing to let that pass.

A recently discovered hidden feature allows you to transform the Model S into a Lotus Esprit S1 submersible. Which reminds us that back in 2013, Elon Musk bought himself James Bond’s morphing submarine car after paying no less than $866,000.

Delivered to Bond by Q in Sardinia, the one-off Lotus is capable of transforming into a submarine, as we find out from “The Spy Who Loved Me” Bond movie. Once this mode kicks-in, Q’s masterpiece comes equipped with anti-aircraft missiles ready to make the world a better place. Anyway, don’t worry, the police won’t be asking you uncomfortable questions because your Tesla Model S will remain unchanged.

However, the idea has a coolness level of over 9,000 if you ask us. Not to mention that by now, you’re probably waiting for us to reveal the secret formula that makes a regular Tesla Model S driver feel like James Bond.

In this case, there you have it: hold the “T” logo on the car’s touchscreen, wait for the login window to appear, enter “007” and there you have it - you’re the captain of a submersible car, like in Jules Verne's novels. There’s also a video below to guide you through the entire process.
