The Ultimate BMW M3 Touring Rendering Comes from Jon Sibal

We’ve seen various BMW M3 Touring renderings since crazy rumors started going around the internet but what Jon Sibal came up with is probably the most hardcore one yet. Our good man started off with a random 3 Series Touring car and ended up in the promised land.

What you should know is that this is possibly the definition of a paradox. Think about it: why do people buy Tourings instead of Coupes or Sedans? For the added practicality, right? Keeping the dynamics intact is also a plus, so that when you go around bends with more than enough speed without having to lift off, in a family car, you get a stupid grin on your face...

Leaving that aside, creating an M3 Touring would be a dream come true for a lot of fans out there but when you slam it and add a widebody kit to the mix that kind of defeats the purpose, right?

That’s what Jon Sibal did here, probably to prove a point. The car he rendered looks just as it should, with the right cues in the right places. That being said, we noticed the bulge on the bonnet, the new kidney grilles, the front bumper and side skirts as well as their add-ons alongside the M3 gill on the front fender.

We also couldn’t avoid looking at the wider fenders and the ultra-deep rims that seem to be out of this world. The car was also slammed, just for fun, I think.

So, what does BMW has to say about all this? Well, they probably would gag at the sight of this car as it would be trampling all over their principles. However, talking about a proper M3 Touring with an official from Munich will reveal that they know some people out there who want it, but they’re not enough to make up a proper market for it. Therefore, building one wouldn’t be justifiable in profit margins. That’s a real shame!
