The Ferrari F12tdf Is Sold Out, Here's a Video to Make You Feel Better

The F12 Berlinetta was already a great combination of supercar and GT. But Ferrari went over all the major components with a magnifying glass and came up with the F12tdf, which is short for Tour de France.

Attention to detail costs money, €310,184 before taxes in this case. That's not enough to put us off, but you could buy a regular Porsche with the money spent on VAT or the CO2 tax alone in certain countries.

Dutch magazine Autovisie says the F12tdf came with a CO2 penalty of €90,659 plus €65,141 in VAT. That brings the total cost of this vehicle to nearly half a million.

They're going to make 799 of these things, which is 200 more than the GTO. In our mind, that proves that the supercar market is indeed growing, and Ferrari along with it.

We know this yellow Ferrari is so new that you haven't had the chance to take a good look at it. That's why we're giving you the latest press video that the Italians released only a couple of days ago. It shows the Tour de France putting on opposite lock and generally behaving in an unruly manner.

It's hard not to fall in love with the numbers of this car. Under that ridiculously long and well sculpted hood is a 6262cc V12 engine that delivers 780 horsepower to the rear wheels. Engineers have also shaved 110 kilograms from the total weight of the car, so when Ferrari claims it will reach 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds, we're inclined to believe them.

The flamboyant automaker describes this car as “the ultimate expression of the concept of an extreme road car that is equally at home on the track.”
