Released back in the psychedelic 1970s, A Clockwork Orange is definitely a brilliant film and possibly the crowning jewel of Stanley Kubrick. It was such a good movie that people started using its name over the years to describe all sorts of things. The latest on the list is this BMW E92 M3.
Admittedly, the only certain similarity between it and the film is one word, the one that defines the color worn on the outside of the car but also found its way in the title of Kubrick’s masterpiece. Other than that, maybe, to some extent, we could learn that the character of the Bimmer is somewhat similar to Alex’s, the main character in the title.
It sure has the potential of wreaking chaos. After all, even in its stock guise this thing has plenty of grunt to go a long way. The 4-liter V8 has a mean growl that hides 420 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque but what we see here is a mutation.
Just like in the movie, something was changed only that unlike the plot that had Alex’s behavior toned down, in real life, the car was going for a more aggressive setup.
Therefore it received some parts in all the essential areas. A Vorsteiner front lip was added along with Gintani side skirts a new boot lid spoiler. A new center diffuser for the rear bumper was inserted in the mix with new headlights and a custom exhaust that brings out the evil within. That’s right, this is quite the screamer when it wants to be and the photographer tried to catch that on film.
Unfortunately, the mic of the camera recording it wasn’t up to par with the challenge and couldn’t keep up with the high volume of the modified pipes. It’s all good though, we have the photo gallery all to ourselves to indulge in some eye candy!
