This Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Looks Abandoned in Abu Dhabi

There are certain automotive forums where wealthy aficionados list the rides they own in their signatures. Many newcomers are amazed when seeing what certain garages can contain and yet American and European owners may seem on a budget when compared to those in the UAE.

In fact, some car fans over there happen to own so many vehicles that it's not all that uncommon for them to simply forget about a certain ride. We're not sure if this is the case with the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster in the clip below, but this looks like it's been abandoned by its owner.

The car is on Abu Dhabi license plates and these aren't any plates - for the area, these are vanity plates. The rule over there is simple - the fewer the digits and simpler the plate, the higher the cost.

Alas, judging by the amount of dust covering this Raging Bull, the V12 placed at the middle of the supercar hasn't been started in quite a while. It's not everyday that you get to see a car built in Sant'Agata Bolognese with "finger dust art" all over its bodywork. And boy oh boy are we thankful for that.

Unlike other dusty exotics in the UAE, this Lamborghini was at least left in a proper location. With the exception of the BMW 7-Series behind it, which also happens to share its color, all the other cars around are sparkling clean. Once again, not a good sign for this Lambo.

Sure, the Aventador Roadster may have its drawbacks. For instance, the suspension is stiffer compared to that of the coupe, while stowing the roof panels in the nose of the supercars means you've basically got zero luggage capacity. Still, none of these are good reasons for dumping the marvelous creature in such a manner.

We prefer to think about the day when the car will be awakened, as the starting roaf of that 6.5-liter V12 can easily shake the entire car park.
