German publication DWDL.de reports that broadcasting company RTL will adapt the hit TV show with the help of an outfit called Tower Productions. Considering that Germany already has automotive strongholds such as Motorvision TV, DMAX, and RTL Nitro, it seems like Top Gear Germany will fit like a glove in this ecosystem if it can replicate the humorous side of Top Gear UK. It's somewhat depressing that while Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May have been dropped from Top Gear UK, the motoring franchise keeps on going based on global appreciation for the three amigos.
