TOPCAR Presents the BMW X6 Inspired Lumma Design CLR X6 R Body Kit

The guys from Lumma Design have been quite busy after BMW launched the new X6. They came up with a new aerodynamic package that is simply too much to look at. Yes, this could look very good in a Transformers movie but in real life, it’s just an overkill if you ask us.

Needless to say that despite this, there’s a decent market for such kits around the world and one of the biggest buyers of X6s since they were originally introduced is Russia. The problems this country is going through these days are worrying, to say the least, but in the end it will be regular folk who will pay the price, not the oligarchs that have plenty of money to spend already.

They are the ones to whom this kit appeals to and that’s not because of bad taste but because only they would be capable to spend €33,000 ($41,132 at today’s exchange rates) on it. That’s right, what you see here is a kit that costs as much as a brand new car. Russian tuner TOPCAR knows this and just published a couple of photos of the car on its Facebook page, announcing that the parts are now available.

What do you get?

In includes almost a completely new body to be honest. The bumpers are changed, the wheel arches are changed, the bonnet is gone and even the boot lid receives either a new spoiler or a full-on wing. With it, the car gains an extra 50 mm on each side (in total 4 inches wider) and daytime running LEDs with Lumma Design’s own take on the matter, apart from the already popular corona rings every X6 will come with.

Round the back, the rear bumper has a carbon fiber diffuser that houses 4 tailpipes of the new exhaust system that is not included in the price. Yes, you’ll have to pay extra for it and that’s because it’s supposed to add some horsepower and torque to the mix along with a new ECU remap for the xDrive50i.

Their version takes the output up from the stock 450 HP and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque to 590 HP and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque which is more than even the X6 M version developed by BMW themselves which is impressive but we’re a little reluctant towards the usability of such copious amounts of grunt.

To top everything off, the 22” wheels complete the package along with a revised interior, also done in the style of Lumma Design. You can check it out in the photo gallery below.
