The Toyota Hilux Invincible X was, until now, available on European soil only in the UK, but the mainland is set to receive the slightly pimped-out Japanese pickup next month.
While the rest of the utilitarian world celebrated the official launch of the 2016 Toyota Hilux truck, Europe was overlooked by the new model. Now, Toyota tries to make up for that by making the Hilux Invincible X available to European customers outside the UK.

We assume the new Toyota Hilux will eventually reach Europe at some point, maybe later this year or early next year, but until now the ongoing generation of the industrious pickup will be offered in the top-of-the-range guise known as the Invincible X.

In terms of performance, everything is as before. In other words, customers can rely on the same rugged ethos of the car, ready to get the job done in any conditions, but the wrapping has been refined. Under the hood, Toyota can fit a 2.5-liter D-4D engine with manual transmission and either 2WD or 4WD or a 3.0-liter D-4D unit with either manual or automatic transmission and 4WD.

Of course, we are talking about exterior styling. In this respect, the Hilux Invincible X comes with a new front guard, a chrome-finished hood air vent, front fog lights and the usual badge treatment on the doors and tailgate.

In the alloy wheels department, buyers can choose from two new 17-inch designs: a 6-spoke created by Toyota Racing Development (TRD) and a 6-spoke wheel finished in matte black.

The interior wasn't overlooked by Toyota, therefore, enter the cabin and you'll find bi-tone leather upholstery (available in Dark Red, Grey or Tan color). Toyota says the Hilux Invincible X will go on sale throughout Europe from July 2015, but no price tag is specified.
