Three-time World Superbike Champion and iconic Ducati rider Troy Bayliss cannot stay far from the racing phenomenon. However, this time he will be swapping the WSBK tarmac for the oval mile-long dirt of the AMA Flat Track Championship.
After getting a good dose of WSBK action earlier this year substituting for injured Davide Giugliano, Bayliss is taking on the American Flat Track, for a 5-race calendar starting on May 24th and ending on September 6th.
The 21-badged Scrambler received a flat-track-compliant trim, meaning it lost the front brake, retaining only the rear rotor. The bike rolls with 19-spoke cast wheels and got flat-track-specific suspensions, low bars and a front number plate. The tail section is a custom fabrication designed especially for this project.
Bayliss is not a stranger to flat-track racing, as he is the organizer of the Troy Bayliss Classic competition in Australia, and he also spends alt of time in the saddle of tracker bikes.

An iconic figure in Ducati's racing history, Troy Bayliss will ride Borgo Panigale's newest machine, a Scrambler. His race bike was built using the Scrambler Full Throttle as the starting platform.
