Ever fancied riding a sport bike in the same livery your racing idols use every other weekend or so? Here's a treat to soothe your pains, or possibly make them worse: a 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1 whose paint replicates the livery of Rossi's current M1 MotoGP beast.
This beauty is sold by a French dealer by the name Team Deletang, and as far as we know, it is so far the only such bike they have at the moment. Facebook users say that this is, however, the second 46 Yamaha that appeared online in a week span.

This R1 is not a Valentino Rossi YZR-M1 replica made by Yamaha France, so it is not an "official" bike, so to speak. We don't know too much details on the legal aspects of selling a bike painted in the guise of the official livery used by a MotoGP team, but this is most likely a concern for the seller and not the rider.

The bike is painted, this is not a decorative decal kit

Aside the very looks of this R1, the coolest thing about this bike is that it doesn't sport decals. The Movistar Yamaha livery is actual paint, so the machine looks almost like the real thing, if not a tad better, given the fact that it is available, and for much less than an M1 replica.

On the tech side this 46-branded R1 seems to be untouched so we're looking at standard specs. This puts 200 hp @ 13,500 rpm and 112.4 Nm (82.8 lb-ft) @ 11,500 rpm at the disposal of the rider, with a quickshift 6-speed transmission.

For a measure, the base price of the 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1 in France is €18,499 ($20,559). We are delving to find out how much is this "Rossified" R1.
