Not too long ago we were telling you that the guys from Dartz were working on a modified GL-Class Mercedes-Benz that would be absolutely crazy in both specs and features. Just the 1,500 HP ring a bell as soon as you hear such a ridiculous number.
And yet, all of them will be needed to push this monster down the road because as you can see, this thing is huge! Based on the GL-Class models, the car will purportedly have an M275 AMG engine under the bonnet, heavily modified just like the exterior and interior of the car.
Coming with a seven-figure price tag, the Black Shark will have some exclusive features that make it unique in the world including the highest B7 armor rating, a retina scanner, fingerprint recognition, built-in cameras, special sirens and lights and retractable door handles. Basically, it’s going to be a private tank.
Only 5 such monstrosities will ever be built by the Latvian company that claims at least their product won’t be boring:
“Our car will be dream of hundreds of tycoons, but only five will be lucky owners. Let’s face it – you are bored of serial made cars. We all are. Downsizing, eco-friendly recycled plastic materials and law regulations are making ways to stand out among the best in the car industry very inconvenient,” said Leo Yankelovich, Dartz CEO.
Well, he certainly is right, such abominations you don’t get to see every day. Considering the problems some tycoons are experiencing at the moment (for example in Eastern Ukraine) we’re sure none of these will be left unsold. Since you also get an anti-paparazzi device that will send a bolt of electricity through anyone attempting to touch the thing, we reckon even movie stars could be interested in it.
