The Monaco leg of this year's Formula One season is over, but we have a cool video shot while Hamilton, Vettel or Raikkonen weren't using the track.
It shows how retired race driver Jos Verstappen is trying to take an interview with his son Max Verstappen. Even though he's used to the speed, Jos has trouble letting others do the driving, and it's amusing to see him scared for his life at one point.
During filming, Dutch F1 Commentator Olav Mol is thrown from left to right on the back seat of the Clio RS with his camera in hand. Poor guy!
What car is this? Well, it obviously a version of the new Clio RS 200 EDC, which has been equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine instead of the old 2-liter. It also packs a 6-speed twin-clutch gearbox, which Renault says shifts gears way faster than you can.
We know that the more powerful Clio RS Trophy with 220 horsepower was also present in Monaco last month. And based on its trademark pearl paint, we are 70 percent sure that this is the car we're dealing with here.
In any case, Max is only 17 years old, so he's not even allowed to drive on public roads and hasn't got a license. But here in Monaco, on a track, he seems to know what he's doing. His dad Jos is trying to take an interview for the Dutch Sport1 television channel. However, he seems too scared to talk and holds onto the grab handle for dear life.
In September 2014, young Verstappen became famous when he crashed a Red Bull F1 car into the wall while performing donuts. It's a good thing the Clio isn't rear-wheel drive then!
