It's already 5 years old now, but the second-gen Chevrolet Equinox still has a few years ahead of it before it'll be replaced by an all-new model. As such, the 2015 model year refresh adds new bits and bobs to hike the crossover's appeal a little more.
First thing you might want to know is that the base LS trim level is $80 more expensive than the 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LS. However, that's no problem at all considering you get OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi as standard, including a free 3-GB/3-month trial period.

Offered with front-wheel as standard and all-wheel drive coming as an optional extra, the 2015 Chevy Equinox is, as before, available in three other trim levels: 1LT, 2LT and the ritzy LTZ top specification.

Combining SUV utility with fuel efficient motoring, the 2015 Equinox LS ($25,395) is offered with a six-speed automatic transmission mated to a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that sends 182 horsepower to the front wheels. In this basic configuration, Chevy claims it returns 22 mpg city and 32 mpg highway.

If you want the range-topping 2015 Equinox LTZ, that'll be $32,795. There's also a 3.6-liter V6 mill with 301 ponies on tap available as an option for the LT1, LT2 and LTZ. Lastly, the new Equinox adds two new exterior finishes: Blue Velvet (someone at GM is a big David Lynch fan, apparently) and Sea Grass Metallic.
