The MINI Paceman might have not been the smartest idea BMW came with in the latest period, but it’s John Cooper Works version is something nice to look at - reason why we’re bringing this furious red one right on to your desktop as a batch of full HD wallpapers.
You might say it looks like a Cooper S version, but check out the picture above and study its details better. From the front you can easily spot those two black lines going up to the roof and landing on the tailgate, the JCW badge on the grille, while the sides show you a different set of skirts and don’t forget those big multi-spoke rims.
Move to the interior and you’ll spot even more differences through more side-bolstered sport seats, gloss black trimmings, more JCW badges and even different pedal covers to show off its sporty nature. Yeah, it has some design flaws, but in the end, it’s a good place to be and the Harman/Kardon sound system will make it even better.
The JCW ALL4 Paceman might not be as practical as the Countryman model, but it will bring a smile on your face if you overlook its nothing-to-do-with-the-mini-idea concept... and the price. Still, it's a great machine with 218 hp and all-wheel-drive that can go sideways if you know how to push it.
Don’t be fooled by its Land Rover Evoque-ish shape and the all-wheel-drive system - the JCW ALL4 Paceman was not made to be a little mountain goat. It’s 124 mm ground clearance and those massive 19-inch alloy rims wrapped in low profile tires say you should stick to the asphalt.
The MINI JCW ALL4 Paceman's overall look seems well planted to the road, which is pretty much true. The hard suspension aids a lot with cornering, but combine it with the bigger rims and your kidneys will beg for mercy after each pothole or rough patch you encounter. If you don’t need that in your life, better stick with the Cooper S version.
