Built in Canton, Mississippi since 2003, Nissan's full-size SUV returns for the 2015 model year with added equipment. Naturally, the extras thrown in with the updated model come with a price increase of $1,170 for the entry-level Armada 4x2 SV variant.
Excluding the $995 destination and handling fees, the 4x2 SV can be yours from $38,060. The price difference may appear too much at first glance, but that's money well spent in our book if you take into consideration the revamped interior trim styling and power lumbar adjustment for the driver's seat, as well as two new exterior finishes baptized Arctic Metallic Blue and Magnetic Black.

The basic SV trim level with four-wheel drive sells for a steep $43,360. Like it was the case before, there's two other trim levels to choose from - an intermediate SL and the range-topping Platinum, both available in 4x2 or 4x4 guise. Speaking of numbers, the 4x2 SL starts from $43,150, while the 2015 Nissan Armada 4x4 Platinum will set you back a whopping $53,330.

In terms of powertrain, there's nothing new under the skin but the same old 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine that sends 317 ponies to the driven wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. Other notable things worth highlighting include seating for eight, 97 cubic feet of cargo space and a 9,000-pound max towing capacity when properly equipped for such duties.

In terms of standard and optional equipment, the 2015 Nissan Armada can be kitted with things such as a moonroof, leather seats, a parking camera, a premium Bose audio system with 11 speakers, rear leveling air suspension and a sat nav system. But if you want to go all out, the Platinum's Reserve Pack adds 20-inch dark chrome rims, two-tone leather, real wood and dark satin chrome cabin trim.
