As always with Porsches that don’t belong to their GT division, the visual treats brought by a special model such as the GTS are small. And yet these make quite a difference, just like a pair of colored socks only a mature character knows how to wear. Oh and let’s not forget the 20-inch rims borrowed from the 911. These are just a part of the details we’ve tried to highlight in the Full HD photo gallery of our 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS review.
Sure, the Agate Grey hue on our 340 HP Cayman wasn’t as flashy as it could’ve been. But we were more than fine with that. Who wants to draw attention from the police? Not that you have to speed in order to get your kicks inside this Porsche. The sheer balance displayed by the Cayman GTS means you’ll be on your toes in both of the situations shown below.
The Cayman GTS’ composure means this car should be called the Porsche Gentleman. To put it simply, you can decided to adopt an entirely new cornering strategy right in the middle of the bend and the car won’t want to kill you for that.
Then again, if you want to drift, the mid-engined machine will keep you just as relaxed. It’s not the best car to do it though, since all it wants is to stay on the grip and go, but the sideways stuff can be done with ease.
Hidden inside those 20-inch wheels, the Cayman GTS’ brakes might not seem extremely impressive at first sight. Nonetheless, a stint on the track revealed the standard steel stoppers offers superb performance. And we mean this both in a stopping power and in a fading resistance way.
The standard seats of the Cayenne GTS are a bit to tight in the rib area for our taste. Still, you get used to this after a while and only feel the effects after you get out the vehicle. The car provides an effortless performance driving experience and this is precisely what made us pay attention to such details. In fact, you can notice all the little treats of this Porsche in the Full HD photo gallery of our Cayman GTS review.
