2015 Renault Captur XMOD HD Wallpapers

The Renault Captur was already one of the most colorful crossovers you can buy for the money, but now it's even better thanks to the XMOD package. You can order it in Flame Red, which is just as sexy as it sounds, while black accents or even cream-colored ones are available.

The Captur really is a bit like a French equivalent of the MINI Cooper, but crossed with all the attributes of the MPV. In fact, it's built at the same factory in Spain as the Modus used to be, which it directly replaces.

Like we said in our review of the 2015 Captur, this car really isn't an SUV in the true sense of the word. The platform is taken from the Clio and enlarged. Only front-wheel drive is available, so climbing mountains is out of the question.

A slightly higher ride height and 17-inch alloy wheels project the aura of a strong vehicle without actually making this into a true 4x4. The engines available are all smaller than 1.5 liters and aimed at offering decent economy. You can even have it with the 0.9-liter downsized turbo, though we'd go for the diesels, which offer real-world fuel savings.

As for the interior, well it's not going to blow your mind in terms of quality. But the Captur is very clever in the way it makes use of available space. The glovebox stored 11 liters, for example, while the boot floor is covered in a water-resistant rubber.

Overall, the 2015 Captur is as much a lifestyle choice as it is a practical car. That's why even though it costs about the same as a Dacia Duster, comparing the two is like comparing a professionally made frappuccino with a cup of coffee you made yourself.
