We can't tell for sure whether it's because of the summer or mainly due to Alfa Romeo Giulia's beautiful lines, but the rendering you see above made our hearts skip a beat.
Yes, it's a suggestion on how the Giulia would look like in open-top ego, and we love it, despite making that obvious two times before.

In any case, just like the shooting brake and the coupé versions we showed you last week, this image hit the world wide web thanks to X-Tomi Design.

The car's body unmistakably looks summer-ready, although all the designer had to do was remove a batch of pixels from the car's roof and let the smoking-hot Italian do its thing. That is, being gorgeous. Leaving aside the fictional (for now) battles and rivalries generated between BMW M3 / Mercedes-AMG C63 lovers and Alfa fans, let's head to a more zen approach for every petrolhead out there.

As you know, the Alfa Romeo Giulia will use a Ferrari-sourced engine for its sportiest interpretation. The 3-liter twin-turbo V6 unit is good for 510 horsepower, but this being a convertible we're interested in the sound experience. Knowing Alfa Romeo and Maserati are sister brands, we expect the engine to growl at the slightest pedal push or release as in the models wearing the trident badge. So, imagine that soundtrack flooding your ears while you ride on a winding countryside road, for example?

It does sound good, doesn't it? Of course is does, but you'd better wake up from that daydreaming you're doing right now and get back to work.
