2016 Kawasaki Ninja H2 Seen from Up-Close, Priced

For some reason, the Kawasaki Ninja H2 remains one of the most thrilling bikes of the last years. This surely comes from the radical road Kawasaki went on in engineering and designing the new H machines and their exclusivist character.

There was hardly anything that Kawasaki could improve when it comes to the H2 for the next year, simply because the machine is the result of a painstaking engineering effort that involved multiple branches of Kawasaki Heavy Industries.

Aeronautics, industrial engineering, and more departments have put their best men at the disposal of the Ninja H2/H2R project, and each branch delivered its peak expertise and solutions to deliver a motorcycle engineered, if possible, to perfection.

The biggest effort Kawasaki put in a bike

We are almost a year into the life of the new H2 family and no recalls or major problems have been signaled. Some of the motorcycles launched at the same show are already recalled to fix problems that are, truth be told, almost inherent in any first-generation new bikes.

Some say that the low Ninja H2 and H2R volumes that made it to the street and track, respectively mean that these bikes will take longer to prove their reliability and durability. This point makes sense, so we are glad that Kawasaki decided to heed the customers and manufacture more units from both series.

The Ninja H2 will be available with a slightly different livery for 2016. Mirror Coated Spark Black replaces the darkened silver mirror of the initial model. Still flamboyant and definitely a strong head-tuning factor for the Ninja H2, this new finish doesn't have anything to do with bling, and this is a thing we love.

The 2016 model will be available in Europe for a price that starts at €26,000. If you want it as a Christmas present, you might have to settle for a reservation and a deposit receipt, as the machines will arrive next year.

As for the on-road performance, the bike is still young, and there are so many showdowns that lie ahead. Hit the following link if you want to see how the Kawasaki Ninja H2 has fared so far.
