We thought the fugly Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Coupe would be the last abomination from Pixel Land we'll ever see, but we were wrong.
This time, today's deviation is based on the 2016 Hyundai Tucson, a good-looking SUV if you ask us. However, the coupe treatment on an SUV is known to generate hunchback models that are not on the undersigned's bucket list.
Long story short, Theophilus Chin took the SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) seen on the BMW X6 and BMW X4 and used it to transform Tucson's rear end into a sloping shape.
From where we're standing, this photo manipulation is as ugly as the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, but at least Hyundai won't build a Tucson Coupe, so there's no need to worry about another hunchback roaming the streets, at least for now.
Usually when we show you such digital creations, we like to imagine what would rest under the hood, but in this case, things are pretty clear as a potential production version Tucson Coupe would just be granted the same engine line-up as found in the regular Tucson.
Since we've mentioned it, we should also tell you the 2016 Tucson - the real, unaltered one - is offered in four grades: SE, Eco, Sport, and Limited. The Sport version, for example, is based on a 1.6-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine working together with a seven-speed EcoShift dual clutch gearbox.
Now, considering the most expensive Hyundai Tucson you can buy comes with a price tag of $31,300 (without the $895 freight charge), we imagine a coupe variant like the one you see in the picture above would go higher than that, because you know, it is meant to be more sophisticated and athletic, but, in fact, it's just uglier and more impractical.
