With no less than six new models launched since their flashy return to the world scene, Indian Motorcycle delivers new color schemes for the two machines that were released first. Indian announces two new colors for their Chief Classic and Chief Vintage basic cruisers.
Pearl White is the new livery Indian Motorcycle prepared for the 2016 model year Chief Classic. The Pearl White seems to be the only color option for the upcoming season, at least this is what we understood from Indian, as no other liveries were mentioned in the material they sent us.

Being able to get the Chief Classic in only one color might be a bit of a setback for certain buyers eyeing to go for a clean and tidy cruiser. Still, the Chief Classic sports certain upgrades from the previous tear model. Indian brings a new vinyl seat, black switchgear, a single headlight and cast aluminium wheels. The Classis retains in the US for $17,999.

The 2016 Chief Vintage gets Star Silver and Thunder Black Smoke color options

It looks like the Chief Vintage is a highly successful model, as Indian is offering it in no less than four color variations. The 2016 incarnation of the Vintage will be available in Thunder Black, Indian Motorcycle Red, the '50's classic Willow Green and Ivory Cream livery, as well as the all-new Star Silver and Thunder Black two-tone combo.

Unlike the Chief Classic, the Vintage retains the chrome finish on the switches, and we'd say it is a better choice for the bike, especially because there are a lot of other shiny parts around, such as the windscreen mounting bracket, aux lights, and headlight casings.

The price for the standard color is $20,999, while the two-tone bikes retail for $21,999. We already introduced the 2016 Indian Chief Dark Horse to you, with its Thunder Black Smoke livery and $16,999 price tag.
